Going to See the Elephant

Rebecca Cox (Sara) played Marie in The Drama GroupÕs
fall 2006 production of Incorruptible and, prior to
that, Cherie in Bus Stop at The Stagecrafters in
Chestnut Hill. Since majoring in theatre at Earlham
College in Richmond Indiana, she has appeared with a
number of theatre companies both locally and in San
Diego, California.

Moriah Gornstein (Etta) was most recently seen in
major roles in three shows at The Stagecrafters in
Chestnut Hill Š Rose in A Shayna Maidel, Alexandra in
The Little Foxes and Dunyasha in The Cherry Orchard.
She has also appeared with Paragon Community Theatre
in Crownsville, Maryland, and Open Circle Theatre at
Goucher College in Baltimore.

Carole Mancini (Maw) has performed in community
theatres in New Jersey and Pennsylvania since 1993.
Her favorite roles to date are Eleanor in The Lion in
Winter and Maryjohnny in A Skull in Connemara. When
not on stage, she pursues her other passion, elder
care, by caring for mentally incapacitated older
people in Ocean County, New jersey.

Shelli Pentimall (Helene) received her Masters degree
in Theatre Arts at Eastern Michigan University, before
attending The ActorÕs Studio in New York City. She has
worked with a number of local theatre companies
including Montgomery Theatre, Simpatico Theatre
Project, the Brick Playhouse, Forge Theatre and
Langhorn Players.

Loretta Lucy Miller (director), an accomplished actor
and director, is thrilled to be back in Philadelphia
after living in Atlanta for twelve years. In 1993, she
appeared in The Drama GroupÕs production of Woman in
Mind. A year earlier, she played Sara in a production
of Going to See the Elephant at The Stagecrafters in
Chestnut Hill. She is grateful to The Drama Group for
the opportunity to direct this marvelous play.
