MEET THE COMPANY

Spinning Into Butter

Darla Spence Coffey (Dean Sarah Daniels) has appeared with The Drama Group most recently as Female Greek Chorus in How I Learned to Drive, Diana in Another Antigone and Hippolyta in A Midsummer NightÕs Dream.. Prior to her extended sabatical from the stage, she played Nurse Kelly in Harvey and, in her stage debut, Jill in Equus.
Bruce McNeel (Dean Burton Strauss) has played many, diverse character roles with The Drama Group including the Foreigner in On the Razzle, Leonato in Much Ado About Nothing, Bob Brown in American Dreams, Owen Musser in The Foreigner, Carr Gom in The Elephant Man and many more. Bruce also serves as The Drama GroupÕs master prop maker.
Patricia Pelletreau (Dean Catherine Kenney) is making her third appearance on The Drama GroupÕs stage, having previously been seen in the ensemble cast of The Laramie Project and as Frauline Blumenblatt in On the Razzle. Pat has appeared with many other local theatre companies including Allens Lane, Stagecrafters and the Irish Repertory theatre.
Evette Peña (Jennifer Chibas) teaches Spanish and computers at Harcum College, is a trainer and facilitator at Fellowship Farm and is a Secondary Education major at Temple University. She is making her acting debut with Spinning into Butter.
Zachary Pontz (Greg Sullivan) has taken classes at the Arden Theatre Company, acted in school shows, appeared on stage at Allens Lane Theater and is currently a Theatre major at Temple University. He is appearing for the first time with The Drama Group.
Howard Scott (Mr. Meyers) has played various roles, both large and small, over the years with The Drama Group, including the Waiter in On the Razzle, the title role in Pericles, the Executioner in The Lark, Mr. Strang in Equus, John Proctor in The Crucible and many more.
Wayne Snover (Director and Professor Ross Collins) has directed and acted in numerous Drama Group shows. His directorial assignments have included, among others, Another Antigone, Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet), Much Ado About Nothing and Children of a Lesser God. He has appeared as Serge in Art, Uncle Peck in How I Learned to Drive, Theseus in A Midsummer NightÕs Dream, Carl in Lonely Planet, David in To Gillian on her 37th Birthday and in many other roles.
